Residential Conveyancer 4PQE+ – Hybrid Working

Our client is a dynamic London firm with a great reputation for property work. Their property team are now seeks a confident and experienced conveyancer (4PQE+) to join them. You’ll enjoy genuine flexibility plus clear opportunities for career progression.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be working on a broad range of residential conveyancing property matters. You will be using your experience to work with the team to support the conveyancing team and manage your own caseload. You will use your high level of interpersonal skills and knowledge to provide clients with appropriate and up-to-date legal advice for Sale and Purchase of freehold and leasehold property and Landlord and Tenant transactions including negotiated leases.
* Manage a caseload of varied conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Liaise proactively with third parties to keep all parties informed of transaction progress.
* Conclude cases efficiently while adhering to service level agreements, quality standards, and client expectations.
* Undertake post-completion tasks independently to ensure cases are closed accurately.
* Provide technical expertise and support to team members as needed.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of transactions involving personal representatives, attorneys, trusts and matrimonial aspects.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, protecting clients and the business.
* Confidently develop working relationships with all external providers and build professional networks.
* Providing a full and comprehensive legal service to all clients, ensuring all their legal needs are met.
Skills and experience
* Technically able and self-motivated conveyancer - 4PQE+
* Must have worked within a residential property team
* Experience of freehold and leasehold, landlord and tenant
* Experience of commercial property would be an advantage but is not a requirement
* The varied work is stimulating and requires a lively, analytical mind and an awareness and understanding of conveyancing issues
* Any previous experience within private client and rural work within conveyancing is a bonus
* Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail
* Confident in dealing with high profile and highly valued UHNW clients
* Plenty of initiative and business acumen
* Essential that the person is a team player and leader
* Strong technical and drafting skills
* Able to be pro-active and “drive” transactions in order to meet tight deadlines.
