About the role

We are a family run business seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with our existing customer base, re-engaging dormant accounts and converting pay-as-you-go users.

As a key member of the team, you will communicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction, identify opportunities for growth and promote our services. Your efforts will directly contribute to customer retention, satisfaction and revenue growth.

Your role will include but won't be limited to the following:

* Maintain relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and ensure they receive maximum value from our services.

* Address customer issues and concerns promptly, coordinating with internal teams when needed to ensure satisfaction.

* Identify and act upon opportunities to up-sell and expand account usage.

* Re-engage accounts through targeted outreach and strategic conversations.

* Convert pay-as-you-go customers into account-based customers.

* Maintain accurate records of interactions, account status and customer feedback using dedicated CRM tools.

* Attend relevant sales meetings, functions, conferences, shows or exhibitions.

What you need to succeed

* Previous experience in a similar role or office environment

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Proven experience of success in sales

* A professional approach to dealing with prospective customers

* Competence with CRM tools, Word, Excel and Outlook

What you'll receive in return

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offering an annual salary of up to £30,500, plus performance-related bonus.
