We want to change lives for the better. The HR Systems Analyst will optimise and maintain our HR Data and Systems to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. As an HR Systems Analyst, you’ll optimise and maintain our HR data and Workday systems to ensure the smooth operation of HR. Responsibilities include streamlining processes, supporting HR cyclical work, handling queries, and analysing data to recommend improvements in HR processes and employee experience. You’ll also help colleagues when needed and participate in wider projects as part of our collaborative, inclusive team. Location: Leeds or London Role: Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover 12 Months Salary: National £38,154 - £41,970 London £44,502 - £48,952 What You’ll Do: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday, ensuring smooth business process transactions, up-to-date information, and proactive issue resolution across multiple modules. Support the development, testing and implementation of updates to Workday, maintaining accurate documentation and training materials for system and process configurations. Collaborate with Technology and other teams to plan and implement system upgrades, enhancements and integrations. Manage the ongoing maintenance of organisation structure in Workday. This will include any organisational structure changes. Administer user access by setting the relevant security settings, permissions and configurations Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve system functionality. Gather and analyse HR data from various sources (eg Workday) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Create reports, dashboards and visualisations to communicate HR data and insights to stakeholders. Use data analysis to inform the development and improvement of HR policies and procedures. Use data to monitor and support a range of HR processes and systems to ensure they are effectively maintained and that data is robust and accurate and in-line with Company Data policies Provide advice and guidance to managers and colleagues so that they understand how HR processes and policies should be applied effectively, tailoring advice to individual circumstances Ensure all HR systems (including Workday) comply with data privacy regulations and company policies. Participate and lead in meetings and workshops to understand system requirements and objectives. Qualifications & Skills: Workday experience: Ideally, proficient in Workday system, with experience of supporting Workday release cycles and testing activities. Data Analysis: Proficient in data analysis techniques Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to present data and insights effectively Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems using data analysis and critical thinking Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and integrity of data Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
