Temporary Position for a Families First Front Door Social Worker We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to support the Families First Front Door Service for a short period of up to around 9 months to cover maternity leave and to support the on-going implementation of the new front door. The Families First Front Door Service is designed to meet the two key principles of effective safeguarding as defined by Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023: • Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility: for services to be effective each professional and organisation should play their full part; and • A child-centred approach: for services to be effective they should be based on a clear understanding of the needs and views of children. Bringing together our partners alongside social work practitioners, we will ensure we are able to confidently gather the right information about a child and their family in one place to inform decision making and ensure that they receive the right support at the time they need it to prevent need escalating.
