General Manager — The Realm, Northampton
We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the launch and ongoing success of The Realm, a brand-new Pan-Asian dining destination in Northampton. This is a rare opportunity to shape a restaurant from day one — building a high-performing team, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and driving commercial success.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with proven restaurant management experience, strong operational and financial skills, and a passion for hospitality. You will oversee all aspects of the business, from staffing and service standards to profitability, compliance, and day-to-day operations.

MUST - Previous experience in hospitality management, culinary arts, or restaurant supervision is highly valued.
Duties
* Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion
* Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient workflow and excellent service standards
* Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
* Handle cash management, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and daily financial reporting
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
* Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and safety protocols
* Coordinate shift schedules and manage labor costs effectively
* Lead efforts in marketing initiatives, customer engagement, and community outreach
* Conduct interviews and performance evaluations for staff members to foster professional growth
Qualifications
* Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus
* Strong background in food industry operations including food handling, food production, catering, and banquet services
* Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; culinary or kitchen management experience preferred
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
* Ability to manage budgets, control inventory, and oversee food & beverage operations
* Experience in hospitality management including shift management, training & development, and hospitality excellence
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Previous assistant manager or supervisory roles within the food service industry are highly desirable
