Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Director of Operations (DOO) to identify, interview, and onboard caregivers.
* Provide supervision, leadership, training, guidance, and mentoring for all assigned caregivers.
* Work with Family First leadership teams and the compliance committee to develop and deliver consistent clinical information.
* Evaluate patients' appropriateness for homecare and ensure comprehensive assessments are completed upon admission and recertification.
* Manage patient care through supervision and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
* Ensure compliance with physician orders and care plans for all assigned patients.
* Promote employee engagement and retention while supporting caregivers' skills development.
* Participate in policy reviews to ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Accreditation standards.
* Contribute to the quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) program.
* Assist in the coordination of quality initiatives and plans of correction as directed by the DON.
* Help develop and implement new products and services in collaboration with management.
* Maintain professional and supportive communication skills.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
* RN Nursing Degree with an unencumbered RN License in the state of employment or a Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
* At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
* Working knowledge of home care regulatory and federal requirements.
* Strong customer service skills, independent judgment, initiative, and solid organization and time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to travel to Family First office locations and patient homes throughout the designated area.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1 year of supervisory experience.
* Excellent organization, problem-solving, decision-making, presentation, and communication skills.
* Outstanding leadership, teaching, and training abilities.
* Creative thinker with the ability to “think outside the box.”
State-Specific Requirements
Florida: N/A
Illinois: 1 year of pediatric experience required.
Pennsylvania: Additional background screening required: Child Abuse and FBI check. Must complete TB screening with a 2-step PPD or 1-step PPD with proof of 2-step PPD administration within the last year.
