Job Description
The Crew Recruitment Consultant role is focused on supporting yachts with all their crew recruitment needs. This is a fast-paced, varied and challenging position that sees you working in direct contact with crew and key stakeholders, as well as alongside the wider TWW team.
You are a significant link for crew looking to develop their career. An adviser, a guide, a support, a cheerleader and a confidant.
This role will include…
* Managing and assisting yachts with all their recruitment needs
* Managing the Interior and Galley department recruitment
* Sourcing and presenting candidates to stakeholders utilising our software/s
* Business development for crew recruitment, developing working relationships with new vessels
* Reviewing and maintaining the candidate database
* Monitoring the compliance of the candidates regarding relevant certifications and references
* Validating and uploading data and documents to our vessel management systems
* Evaluating and improving software, documents and procedures
* Working with key stakeholders through the recruitment, onboarding and employment processes
* Working with other departments to provide a high-end crewing and crew HR service
* Assisting with the monitoring
* Arrangements for, and assistance with, internal and external company audits
* Maintaining regular and professional communication, support and collaboration with all TWW Yacht Management colleagues, the wider TWW Yachts Group and all key stakeholders. Including owners, owner teams and family offices, Captains, crews, insurers, classification societies, flag states, fiduciary service providers, etc. As well as technical, project and compliance managers, brokerage, charter and senior management
* Ensuring all deadlines are met
* Attending industry events and trade shows
Who We Are Looking For
A motivated and diligent individual with the drive and integrity to provide our clients with the outstanding service they are accustomed to. They will have a keen eye for detail and an excellent ability for professional communication across all levels of the stakeholder chain.
The Ideal Candidate will be from a maritime background and have a solid understanding of onboard operations. This could be from time served onboard or in a vessel recruitment role ashore.

* A strong ability with, and a good understanding of, computing software. Including, all Microsoft 365 Suite, SharePoint, etc. (any experience with accounting, ISPS management or recruitment software will also put you at an advantage)
* Solid experience and understanding of the yachting industry and/or recruitment

Gross Salary: Competitive basic salary
Commission: Very competitive commission structure (monthly)
Bonuses: Discretionary and performance-based
Commissions: Commissions available for new business, including Management, Sales Brokerage and Charter
Holiday: 20+ pa (plus UK or employment location public holidays)
Extra Leave: The working days between Christmas and New Year are “gifted” on top of any holiday allowance
Hybrid Working: 1 day working from home per week or accrued into 1 week working from home per month (after successful completion of probation)
Pension: Statutory UK pension
Start Dates: Flexible start dates depending on candidate availability
Place of Work: TWW Yacht Management Office, UK, Southampton
Working Hours: Flexible start times between 08:00 and 10:00, with a following 8-hour working day
