The Best Connection are recruiting for a Mill Setter/Operator on behalf of our prestigious client based in West Bromwich
YOU WILL BE FOLLOWING A ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN!
Hours of work:
- Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00 & Friday 06:00-13:00
- Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00 & Friday 13:00-20:00
- Sunday-Wednesday 22:00-06:00 & Friday 22:00-17:00
Pay rate: £15.86 per hour (shift allowance is included).
Job duties:
- Set and operate the roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipment
- Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
- Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
- Keep production and quality related records up to date
- Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
- Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate requirements:
- A good knowledge of Roll forming
- Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
- Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards
- Ability to comply with and promote company's ATIRE and SQDC values
- Wealth of experience in setting and operating a cold roll forming mill
