You will be joining themercial function of a large, well-established organisation delivering a range of programme and project-based works across the Birmingham area. The team oversees financialernance for multiple schemes and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supply-chain partners. The environment is structured, professional and focused on accuracy, value and efficient contract management.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the full financial control of provider and managed works contracts. This will include value engineering, estimating, price negotiations, agreeing the value of additional works, managing valuations,pleting final accounts and producing the full suite of contractual documentation. You will analyse financial data for live schemes, support subcontractor account management and ensure allmercial activity ispliant with relevant processes and contract structures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a degree or equivalent qualification, along with typically 5+ years' experience in amercial contract or cost-management role. You must have experience analysing scheme financial data, administering NEC contracts and managing subcontractor accounts. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and the ability tomunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are essential.
