Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Sparks Private Day Nursery. This role is vital in nurturing children's development and ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and education in our supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities for children aged 0-5 years.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes holistic development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning.
* Uphold nursery policies and procedures while promoting best practices in early childhood education.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Contribute to the nursery's commitment to environmental awareness.
Qualifications
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (mandatory).
* Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting (mandatory).
* Strong understanding of child development principles (mandatory).
* Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and families (essential).
* Leadership or management experience within an educational context (preferred).
* Commitment to ongoing professional development (preferred).
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team (preferred).
* A passion for outdoor learning and environmental stewardship (preferred).
