Description
We’re looking for full time and part time reliable, friendly and conscientious individuals to support our water mains replacement programme by hand-delivering important notification letters to households and businesses ahead of work starting in their community. The work areas will be in Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. This is a customer facing role and an important step in providing our customers with a continued positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure letters are delivered securely and to the correct properties
* Engage politely and professionally within local communities
* Report access issues or concerns back to the central team
* Drive and use a company van safely and responsibly
* Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
Experience and Qualifications
* Full UK dirivng license
* Confident using a smart phone for routes and reporting via an app
* Comfortable working independently
* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Able to communicate clearly and politely with members of the public
Desirable (but not essential)
* Previous delivery, postal, courier or field-based work
* Customer service or public facing experience
