We are seeking an experienced Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming UK-based airport projects. With a current skills gap in airport electrical engineering in the UK, this role plays a vital part in knowledge development and cross-team collaboration. The successful candidate will be involved in technical and administrative work while supporting multiple airport project sites. This is a hybrid role with required on-site presence during project installation phases. It is ideal for someone methodical, team-oriented, and committed to quality and structure. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to engineering design and project execution. Reviewing project requirements and assessing feasibility in collaboration with the Project Leader Engineering (PLE).
Supporting planning and progress reporting for engineering deliverables.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine electrical components and interface strategies.
Designing and specifying complete low-voltage electrical installations, including supply systems, control cabinets, field wiring, and cable routing.
Conducting power and cable calculations, including selectivity and load distribution.
Managing engineering documentation and quality control processes.
Contributing to continuous improvement efforts and professional self-development.
Proven experience in electrical design for industrial or low-voltage installations.
Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN.
Familiarity with industrial communication networks (e.g., ProfiNet, ASi Bus, Profibus ).
