The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and curious Research Analyst to join our team and help us build out our Data and Insights content and infrastructure. You’ll work directly with the founder to build this function from the ground up.
Your work will be instrumental in building the Research function into an industry-leading intelligence centre focused on the Data & Analytics industry. You’ll also be involved in working with the founder and other team leads within our Data and Marketing functions to help build the Asymmetrix data product and brand.
What You’ll Do
* Collect, analyse and interpret information and data across the Data & Analytics market
* Create written analyses of specific corporate events, companies and sub-sectors within Data & Analytics industry
* Drive the creation of systems and processes for the output of reports and analysis on a regular basis
* Select, create and edit content for use in Asymmetrix marketing
* Support the Data team in the development of a scientific approach to interpreting financial and operational metrics
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 1-2 years working in Data & Analytics/Information Services/B2B Media, Consulting, Market Research, or adjacent industries
* Minimum 2:1 at undergraduate level
* The ability to express your understanding of a business or sector clearly and thoughtfully in outstanding written English
* Experience in writing content for consumption by business audiences to tight deadlines
* Demonstrable interest in Data & Analytics and broader technology markets, particularly subscription business models; what trends are shaping the technology space, and where innovation is happening
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a passion for data analysis. Ideally with some experience of reading and understanding financial accounts
* A structured approach to managing and organizing large volumes of information
* Self-starter attitude; you’re comfortable working remotely and independently
* Curiosity and a love of learning!
