Overview
The Cardiology Booking Office is looking for a friendly, caring and motivated individual to join the team to provide excellent service to our patients. This role involves booking a range of outpatient clinics, managing a waiting list, answering telephone queries, and working in accordance with the Welsh Government RTT guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied role, with excellent communication skills and a dedication to delivering an efficient and effective service. You will work closely with members of the Cardiology team to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
* Book outpatient clinics and manage the waiting list.
* Answer telephone queries and provide accurate information to callers and patients.
* Work in accordance with the Welsh Government RTT guidelines.
* Collaborate with the Cardiology team to ensure timely patient appointments.
Qualifications and Skills
* IT literate with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain excellent attention to detail.
* Knowledge of the Myrddin system and RTT guidelines would be advantageous.
* Methodical, well organized and able to work effectively to make a genuine difference.
* Excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with the general public.
