Health and Safety Advisor
Location: UK / Flexible (Within travel distance of Coventry area)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent – Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Make a meaningful impact within a leading green services organisation. Due to internal promotion and ongoing growth, we are seeking a proactive and driven Health and Safety Advisor to support operations across the Midlands and wider UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHEQ professional to join a fast-paced, multi-site business where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in driving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across a diverse portfolio of services, including landscaping, grounds maintenance, traffic management, and civil engineering.
Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will:
* Support operational teams in meeting their legal, regulatory, and SHEQ responsibilities.
* Act as the main contact for incident and accident reporting and assist with investigations.
* Lead and support the internal audit programme across your region.
* Ensure consistency and drive continuous improvement within the Integrated Management System.
* Work across multiple contracts and sites, balancing office-based planning with on-site audits and coaching.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
* Experience in a similar SHEQ role, ideally working across multiple sites or in the field.
* Auditing qualification in Quality, Health & Safety, or Environmental systems.
* Self-motivated, flexible, and positive “can-do” attitude.
* Strong communication and IT skills.
Desirable:
* Experience in landscaping, highways, construction, or environmental services.
* Recognised training or coaching qualifications.
