Our Structure
The Finance, Commercial, Sustainability and Property (FCSP) Directorate manages and analyzes the Agency’s financial activities. It reports on current performance, forecasts budgets, and collaborates with stakeholders to shape financial strategies.
The role is within the Project & National Interest Case Finance Business Partner Team in the FCSP Directorate. It provides project finance advice to stakeholders and senior leaders across a growing project portfolio.
We are recruiting a Level 7 Apprenticeship Cost Centre Manager. This role offers an engaging opportunity within an established team of finance professionals.
Alongside your role, you will complete a full Level 7 Accountancy Professional apprenticeship, including studying for the CIMA qualification, within up to 36 months. The apprenticeship is fully funded, and we consider applications from those already studying or with completed qualifications. If you are too advanced in your studies, a fully-funded non-apprenticeship role may be offered.
The position is full-time (36/37 hours per week). Part-time applications will be considered if working hours meet role and apprenticeship demands.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake activities such as:
* Managing the General Ledger & Cost Centres, including posting accruals, adjustments, assessing VAT, and correcting journals according to standards.
* Maintaining Purchase Orders, raising issues or closures as needed.
* Providing reports and presenting information to decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Handling budgets, forecasts, variances, and spending reviews.
* Supporting the team and answering queries related to your work area.
