This role would be well suited to someone who is passionate about supporting and achieving positive outcomes for others. MDS Casual Support workers have the opportunity of working across a variety of our services including: Day Programs - supporting people with a disability in a group setting to access the community and achieve their goals Individual Supports - working 1:1 with a person with a disability in their home, community or in social supports including sleepover shifts - This is a high priority area of recruitment at this time MDS Club - Attend events and social functions supporting people with a disability and their friends Recreation and Social Programs - including Youth Social and Living skills Short Term Accommodation - Weekends away supporting people with a disability Key Responsibilities for this position include: Supporting people with a disability and their family/carers in achieving life learning, recreation, employment and educational goals and aspirations Engage with people with complex care needs to support achievement and encourage further independence Provide personal care, living skills, transport, other services and support. The successful applicant will have: HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Qualification - current within 3 years HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - current within 12 months NDIS Worker Clearance Working with Children's Check NSW Driver's Licence (P1 or above) Access to a reliable vehicle A passion for supporting others These positions are Casual, offering shifts across days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends to suit your availability. MDS Programs span across the Macarthur, Liverpool and Wingecarribee regions. This role is covered under the SCHCADS Award Level 2 ($43.23- $47.16).
