Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team in the Southsea branch. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including three ACPTsproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a small high street. Currently dispensing around11,000items per month, this is a busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities
11. Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards
12. Oversee a dedicated team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
13. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
14. Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
15. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
16. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
17. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
18. Provide immunization services (where applicable)
19. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
20. Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
What We Require
21. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
22. Proven experience in a communitypharmacy setting with management experience preferred
23. Strong commitment to patient care and safety
24. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
25. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
26. Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
27. A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
