Position: Service Delivery Engineer (Night Shift)
Length of Contract: This role will be on a weekly rolling basis for a period of 3 months (probation) and then extended till March 2027. A weeks notice by either party. Full CRB checks to be done alongside.
Hours Per Week: 39 Hours Per Week over Friday/Saturday & Sunday Night.
Skill Set Needed: Applications are invited for the post of Service Delivery Engineer on Night Shift, located in the IT Service Desk which provides IT technical support. The position is on site based in Basingstoke and is part of a team of three Night Shift Team workers.
We are looking for an organised, customer focused, enthusiastic person to join our team who has excellent IT Technical support skills. First class customer service skills are needed, a good, calm, reassuring manner is essential with a strong attention to detail. You will be taking a variety of support calls, aiming to fix all technical issues remotely or over the telephone.
The successful applicant will have a excellent knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Remote Control Support Tools, PC / Laptop & Printer Hardware plus knowledge of Build Technology/Imaging Tools. Experience of using a computerised Helpdesk/Service Desk system and knowledge of ITIL processes are essential.
