About the role
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £13.70 an hour and rises to £14.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with part‑time options from 12 hours.
Availability windows
* Sunday: 11:00 – 17:00
* Monday: 11:00 – 16:30
* Thursday: 11:00 – 18:00
* Saturday: 11:00 – 18:00
You will be scheduled within these windows and receive three weeks’ notice of your shifts.

Responsibilities
* Support the operation of one of our modern pharmacies.
* Apply technical skills and customer focus to accurately dispense medication.
* Dispense prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Communicate with customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner, encouraging repeat visits.
* Provide information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Explain benefits of products in clear terms, recommending only suitable items.
* Advise customers on the range of pharmacy services available.
* Deliver dispensing and clinical processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assess the legality of dispensed prescriptions.
* Deal with clinical and legal queries from health‑care practitioners within competence.
* Respond to customer queries about prescription medicines and report complaints to the pharmacist.
* Ensure all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
* Maintain clean and tidy dispensing and consulting rooms.
* Complete corporate and departmental training.
* Stay up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop further in the pharmacy field.
