Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer:
Conduct regular maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment within our state-of-the-art food production facility.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure seamless operations.
Perform preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and longevity.
Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety checks, maintaining a secure work environment.
Collaborate closely with the maintenance team, ensuring all equipment is operational and efficient.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in food production or manufacturing.
ONC/HNC or equivalent recognized apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
Proficiency in pneumatics; knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is advantageous.
Relevant technical qualifications in electrical engineering or related field.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
