The business operates across UK & Ireland, with multi-site presence, making it a fast paced and energetic organisation!The role requires national travel across multiple sites, and working 3 days in the office in Birmingham per month.
Job Description
3. Lead, develop and implement the HR vision and strategy across the business, partnering with the senior leadership team to support the growth of the business
4. Coaching leadership teams to drive excellence and high performance across their teams
5. Ownership of the talent development and succession planning process - creating solutions to develop and build future leaders
6. Partnering with talent acquisition to build future pipelines and strategies for retention and succession planning
7. Promoting high levels of engagement through actioning feedback and implementing initiatives that drive an inclusive environment
8. Supporting the business with change management and organisation design in line with business growth
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of HR should have:
9. Proven experience in a similar role, working with a blue collar workforce
10. A commercial and people focused HR background in a similar level role
11. Have a strong mix of strategic and operational experience
12. Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business, from operational teams to senior leadership
13. Strong leadership skills and ability to strategise at both business and operational levels.
14. Excellent influencing and problem-solving skills
15. Energy, enthusiasm and passion for driving leading HR initiatives
