Account Executive – Renewable Energy (Full-Time, Remote)


Location: UK (Remote or Hybrid)

Salary: £26,000 (OTE: £30,000 – £35,000)

At DNO Renewables, we specialise in managing DNO (Distribution Network Operator) applications and notifications for the UK’s leading solar, battery, EV, and heat pump installers.

We handle the entire submission process, from application to approval, so our clients can focus on installation, not paperwork.


We work with over 200 renewable energy companies across the UK, providing fast, accurate, and compliant grid submissions. Our team is expanding, and we’re now looking for an ambitious Account Executive to help us grow even further.


🎯 The Role


As an Account Executive, you’ll play a vital role in bringing new clients onboard while building strong, lasting relationships with existing ones.


This is a dynamic, client-facing position that blends business development with account management, ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people and driving measurable results.


💼 Key Responsibilities


New Business Development


* Identify and reach out to potential solar, EV, and renewable installers across the UK.
* Present DNO Renewables’ services confidently and clearly, both over the phone and online.
* Convert warm and cold leads into active clients on either a retainer or pay-per-application basis.
* Work towards achievable monthly and quarterly revenue targets.


Account Management


* Act as a trusted point of contact for assigned clients.
* Provide updates, resolve queries, and maintain an exceptional standard of service.
* Spot opportunities to upsell or enhance client packages (e.g., API integrations, portals).


Collaboration & Reporting


* Coordinate with our submissions and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
* Maintain CRM records and activity logs accurately.
* Report progress to senior management with transparency and initiative.


💷 Compensation & Benefits


Base Salary: £26,000 (OTE: £30,000 – £35,000)


* Commission / Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonuses tied to new business & client growth.
