The Finance Manager IWS (Industrial Waste Services) UK will be responsible for the overall financial management, the corporate governance and the statutory and tax reporting of the accounts and will execute the finance & administration strategy of the IWS business in the UK region, in line with the BL IWS and Group strategy and guidelines, in order to realize the companys business & financial objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Support the Finance Director IWS, Director Financial Controlling IWS, the Business Controlling team, the Business Teams of UK and the Core team of the BL IWS with financial expertise and information to enable qualitative decision making in leading the business.
2. Directs Indaver UK financial operations for ongoing business across all legal entities within the region
3. Ensures the legal, insurance and purchasing activities within the UK region are appropriate for the ongoing business and for growth projects supported by the Indaver Group services.
4. Leads, external & internal financial audit and risk management requirements within the UK region.
5. Indaver is in transition from SAP to S4Hana. The Finance Manager UK will be involved in the transition.
6. Indaver Solvents and BIPE works in SAGE. Evaluation will need to be done if and when a potential further integration to SAP S4 Hana can be established.
7. Develop, manage & empower a professional Finance team in UK in order to have the necessary competences and expertise available within the region.
Experience and Qualifications Required
8. Master degree in Accounting and/or Finance is essential with a programme of Continuous Professional development appropriate to the role (ACCA/CIMA)
9. 10 years working experience in a broader financial management position within the (manufacturing or chemical) industry or technical/logistics services in an international context.
10. Experience with holding/matrix organization is preferred.
11. Ideally experienced in people management.
12. Experience with tax management and legal matters
Technical Knowledge Required:
13. IFRS
14. UK GAAP
15. Working knowledge and affinity with Sage is essential. Knowledge of SAP S4Hana would be an advantage
16. BEPS
17. Excellent understanding of statutory and tax accounting, regulatory reporting, treasury management, forex & corporate governance.
