A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Facilities Administrator to join a busy head office environment in Liverpool. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
Your new role
You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting colleagues, maintaining facilities standards, and assisting with day‑to‑day operational tasks. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and being the go‑to person for all things facilities.
Responsibilities could include:
1. New Starter Support: Prepare access cards, name tags, car park passes, induction tours, and DSE requirements.
2. Facilities Inbox Management: Respond to colleague queries, resolve minor office issues, log maintenance requests, and manage pass replacements.
3. Daily Facilities Operations: Coffee machine checks, meeting room setup, health & safety upkeep, liaising with cleaning teams, ordering supplies, desk moves, printer support, and monitoring aircon issues.
4. Routinepliance Checks: Weekly legionella, emergency lighting, and defibrillator tests; monthly fire extinguisher checks; annual DSE assessments.
5. General Office Maintenance: Maintain store cupboards and ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the office environment.
6. Reception Cover (as needed): Answer calls, greet visitors, manage enquiries, handle post and parcels, and issue visitor/parking passes
