Job Description
3. Review Purchase Ledger VAT postings.
4. Oversee the preparation of weekly payment run across multiple currencies
5. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual VAT and other regulatory returns.
6. Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and tax legislation.
9. Assist in financial audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting functions.
11. Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accounts Payable & VAT Accountant should have:
12. Strong knowledge of VAT returns - Essential
13. Familiarity with accounting systems and software - Essential
