Location: Louth (with occasional cover at another branch – approx. once per month)
Salary: £45,000 + bonus (OTE up to £55,000)

About the Role
Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Service Manager to lead our busy Service Department in the Louth Area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the region’s most prestigious agricultural and plant dealerships, supporting both our technicians and valued customers.
Reporting to the Group Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, drive aftermarket sales, and ensure the highest levels of customer service and workshop efficiency. With support from a Service Administrator and a young, growing office team, you’ll bring strong leadership, a sense of humour, and excellent communication skills to create a positive and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers, understand their service needs, and ensure satisfaction at every stage.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Agricultural Technicians. Mentor apprentices and support the development of less experienced team members.
Allocate and prioritise workloads to maximise efficiency, ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.
Review job cards, check labour and parts entries, and ensure prompt invoicing.
Coordinate training plans with the Group Service Manager to up skill the team.
Maintain strong links with Manufactures and other representatives.
Support the hiring and retention of technical talent to strengthen the service team.
What We’re Looking For
Previous Service Manager experience within the Agricultural or Plant sector (essential).
Background as a Service Technician (3–5 years minimum).
Strong leadership skills – able to support, motivate, and look after your team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to build rapport with staff, customers, and suppliers.
Proficient with IT systems, with the ability to quickly learn in-house platforms.
Flexible attitude – willing to work additional hours during busy harvest periods.
Resilient and personable – able to bring energy, humour, and leadership to a growing office team.
