Vision for Education are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive, forward thinking primary School in the Cambourne area. You will be working with children with a variety of special educational needs. on a one-to-one basis. About the role This primary school is warm and welcoming. You will join a team of committed Teaching Assistants who support the children and prioritise the inclusion of all learners. This role will involve a mix of working with children in class and some time out of the classroom. This role is temporary-to-permanent, after a successful period there may be the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. Requirements: To be considered for the role of TA you will: Have experience of working in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum) Have a calm and supportive approach to those children who exhibit challenging behaviour Be willing to take the time to build trusting relationships with the children you work with Regard behaviour as a means of communication and take time to understand pupils motivations Help create a supportive and safe school environment Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential) Have experience of working with children with SEND Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
