Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems.
* Perform routine servicing of process control equipment (e.g., transmitters, controllers, analysers).
* Record all maintenance activities accurately.
* Assist with vendor-led servicing and installations.
* Support plant maintenance, repairs, isolations, and commissioning work.
* Ensure compliance with safety systems and permit-to-work procedures.
* Liaise with and supervise contractors and external engineers.
* Respond to breakdowns and occasional out-of-hours callouts.
* Maintain clean, safe, and orderly working environments.
* Support other technicians and operational staff as needed.
* Develop technical knowledge through training and supplier engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
* 4–5 years’ relevant maintenance experience.
* Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in instrumentation (with electrical knowledge).
* Understanding of oil & gas industry operations.
* Able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
