Company Overview
Working for this well established Group of companies who are continually growing and expanding presents a great career opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler. This is a hybrid role where you will manage a portfolio of clients and prospect for new commercial business. They will also consider candidates with Commercial Account Handling experience who prefer not to move into a full BDM role.
Candidate Profile
With experience in Commercial Insurance, you will be a confident communicator capable of working in a team environment. Ideally, you will drive as there may be a requirement to travel to other offices and visit clients, but it's not essential. The role mainly involves acting as a BDE, dealing with Commercial Insurance renewals.
If you hold the CII qualification, that's great. If not, you must be prepared to study for it (fully funded by the company) after your probationary period.
Job Description
This role involves developing and maintaining a client portfolio, building long-term relationships through client contact and presentations. You will be targeted at bringing in and prospecting for new commercial business.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve individual sales targets through new business and renewals, self-monitoring sales activity to maximize all avenues
* Track and monitor activity progress, including conversion rates for leads, appointments, quotes, and sales
* Support and adhere to sales incentives, including cross-selling, networking, and referrals
* Maintain high customer service levels to ensure team KPIs are met
* Respond promptly to telephone enquiries
* Send out comprehensive presentations to market, ensuring optimal premium and coverage for clients
* Process all admin tasks promptly
* Build and sustain long-term client relationships
You should be experienced in Commercial Insurance, capable of selling, upselling, renewals, and building client relationships.
