Contract Manager – Estate Services
West London | £450 per day (Inside IR35) | Full-Time | Start ASAP
We’re working with a public sector organisation to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to oversee estate services across a large housing portfolio in West London.
This role is about ensuring residents live in safe, clean, and well-maintained estates. You’ll be responsible for managing key contracts, leading a small monitoring team, and driving improvements in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
* Lead and support a team of 4 Contract Monitoring Officers.
* Hold monthly contractor meetings and produce performance reports.
* Analyse service data and identify areas for improvement.
* Work directly with residents, responding to complaints and queries.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
* Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Support projects that promote sustainability and environmental goals.
* Attend occasional resident and stakeholder meetings outside core hours.
Skills & Experience
* Proven background in estate services contract management – cleaning and grounds maintenance are essential.
* Experience managing contract monitoring teams.
* Confident working with KPIs, reporting, and performance management.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Good data analysis skills and IT proficiency (MS Office, contract systems).
* Ability to deliver improvements and manage change effectively.
* Flexible, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a busy environment.
