Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is to communicate with New Build sites to collate their weekly jobs requests for our Flooring division. We support several sites across the Northeast, Durham and Teesside regions which is currently expanding into North Yorkshire also and requires someone to join us in streamlining our planning and scheduling. The Scheduler will construct daily work schedules for our fitting teams reviewing efficient travel plans and team abilities.
You will be proactive in managing Customer Care defects, ensuring SLA agreements with our builders is met and we keep within the New Homes Quality Code for required response and action timeframes, you will be dealing with queries, complaints and maintaining high standards of communication at all times.
We operate in a busy and demanding environment, and at times workloads become high, especially during quarter end, half year and year end periods.
You will be working in a team and you will need to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
This is a fast-paced environment, you must be quick thinking and highly motivated, with the ability to perform under pressure. The industry is changing daily, so you will need to welcome new challenges and be willing to learn new skills.
Key duties and responsibilities
· To oversee, control and collate weekly job requirements from site managers, sales personnel, and senior contracts managers.
· To manage and action daily instruction from developments relating to changes, cancellations and adding additional last-minute work.
· To manage and action all reported Customer Care issues within agreed timescales.
· To Control multiple communication channels which will include Telephone calls, email, WhatsApp, and text messaging.
· To Create efficient work schedules for multiple fitting teams across the North of the UK, Share and communicate the schedules with all Fitting teams, including providing specific requirements per job.
· Making outbound calls to organise customer care bookings.
· Any other duties relevant to this role.
Persons Specification
· Previous experience of working in a fast-paced office environment.
· Proven record of strong Administration Skills
· Excellent computer skills, with experience of Excel / MS Office
· Must have outstanding attention to detail.
· Must be proactive and able to confidentially work independently, as well as being a positive team player.
· Knowledge of the local areas and use of google maps.
· Able to commute to Prudhoe, Northumberland daily.
· Previous experience of working within new build sector desirable but not essential
· Self-driven, self-motivated individual that is proactive and takes the lead.
· Must possess strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
