This is a permanent opportunity which will report into the Factory Engineering Manager.Nestls Dalston Factory in Cumbria is the European Centre for cappuccino and creamers producing a range of beverage products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as Nescaf, Aero Hot Chocolate and Coffee-mate. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing Lean/TPM processes so its an exciting time to be involved.We take pride in championing inclusion and diversity. Additionally, we are a headline partner of Diversity and Inclusion in grocery.Your impactUltimately, you will be responsible for managing the maintenanceofthe store levels on site, with a particular focus on our Engineering parts availability. You will be responsible for stock availability and relevant KPI's as well as invoicing suppliers as required.Your other key responsibilities will include:Receive deliveries from suppliers ensuring correct allocation andmaintainglobe by creating stock items and maintaining MRP data.Manage all activities for spare parts, such as receiving and issue, storage and reorder.Analyse slow moving parts to ensure no obsolete parts are being held on stock.Establish and execute inventorycontrol including cyclecounting,accessprocess and training.Create Master data and reorder levels for new spare parts using Excel.Drive continuous improvement in the area looking at cost optimisation and workplace transformation.Your ingredients for successTo be successful in this role you will already have a proventrack recordwithina Stores Management role, ideally within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
