CitySprint has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator. We are looking for a superstar who enjoys coordinating team activities and efforts to ensure a streamlined and efficient operation, resulting in excellent service for our customers and colleagues. In this role, you will build excellent working relationships with both staff and clients in the Service Centre and beyond, acting as the go-to person who designs and delivers an effective operation with couriers and suppliers. Main responsibilities: Answer phone lines promptly and professionally. Arrange relevant collections, transit routes, and deliveries. Input event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments. Liaise with Operations departments and, where required, Imports to ensure imports arrive within agreed SLAs (transit times). Provide customers with updates on all exceptions or issues. Request and enter all PODs from relevant agents. Report all discrepancies to Managers. Provide quotes when requested to the relevant customer. Monitor emails for the Service Centre. Work with suppliers (agents) to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate will: Have some experience supporting control with dispatching or allocating vehicles. Treat people with respect under all circumstances. Respond promptly and appropriately to the needs of customers and suppliers, ensuring their requests are met. Ensure all jobs are collected and delivered within agreed timescales – delivery by time. Deal effectively and promptly with client operational queries, keeping clients fully informed of outcomes. Be proactive in suggesting improvements to service delivery. Be a skilled listener, able to understand and empathise with customers while appreciating the customer-supplier relationship.
