Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: GBP 35,000-42,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise).
Type: Permanent.
Location: Essex.
My client designs and manufactures a range of fabricated products and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Design.
* Proficient with SolidWorks CAD software.
* Previous experience in a similar mechanical design role within the manufacturing sector.
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
* Work within the existing design engineering team.
* Produce solid models and drawings using SolidWorks CAD software.
* Create necessary documentation for the designs, including BOMs.
* Carry out engineering calculations when required.
* Liaise with other colleagues.
* Provide technical assistance to customers and suppliers when needed.
