We are recruiting an enthusiastic Health Visitor to lead, deliver and influence the national Health Visitor Pathfinder Project in Croydon. This project is to deliver a local service specification of childhood immunisations that meets the public health needs of the local communities in Croydon, covering the North Locality of the borough which has 4 PCNs and 24 GP Practices.
Responsibilities
* The post holder will plan, organise and deliver childhood immunisations in line with the national programme, delegating to team members where appropriate to ensure high‑quality service.
* Provide a skilled, evidence‑based immunisation service to clients in various community settings.
* Collaborate with other health care and service providers for seamless service delivery.
* Work with team colleagues to deliver the contractual requirements of NHS England.
* Support, train and educate health visitors in the national immunisation programme.
* Attend sites across different locations as directed by your line manager.
* Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses and complaints are reported, monitored and processed according to organisational policies.
* Participate in audits, recommend improvements and share outcomes with the team.
* Maintain accurate record‑keeping in line with company policy, procedure and guidelines.
