Our client, a manufacturing company in the Tameside area, are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for minimum of 4-8 weeks with potential to become permanent.
Pay rate will be £20/hr PAYE.
The role is on days, working from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.
The position is based in the East Manchester/Tameside area and commutable from Stockport, Hyde, Openshaw Oldham, Glossop and other areas of Greater Manchester.
Requirements:
To be considered for the role the following experience/skills is required;
* Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering, ideally HNC level.
* Strong manufacturing background in reactive & PPM work.
* Solid all-round mechanical engineering experience covering things like bearings, shafts, rollers, hydraulics and other production machinery.
* Responsible for maintaining engineering stores & parts & work to continual improvement of the PM system.
* Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with the Electrical Engineer on site.
