We have over 900 employees and 200 Wealth Planners who provide wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and corporate clients across the UK via our network of offices.
Due to our continued growth Succession now have a fantastic opportunity for a XPLAN Support Engineer to join our IT team and provide outstanding support for our XPLAN (in -house ‘Connect’) system.
About the Role
As a Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for Connect system queries, ensuring timely resolution and excellent user experience. You’ll work closely with IT leadership, stakeholders, and suppliers to manage support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and respond to queries via the Connect support ticketing system and inbox.
2. Build and code Model Office templates (Microsoft Word).
3. Assist with data migration testing and liaise with providers and stakeholders.
4. Perform user administration and maintenance.
5. Test new product releases and support regression testing.
6. Identify trends and escalate issues impacting operational workloads.
7. Contribute to process enhancements and project work as experience grows.
What We’re Looking For
8. Experience providing excellent customer support.
9. Strong technical problem-solving skills and intermediate MS Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
10. Reliable, tolerant, and empathetic communicator.
11. Interest in corporate software and willingness to learn.
Desirable Skills
12. Experience using XPLAN and knowledge of IFA back-office processes.
13. IT support experience and exposure to coding languages.
14. Background in UK Financial Services sector.
