We are looking for a Parts Quality Engineer to join our team, responsible for carrying out quality control activities both on the production line and in the goods receiving warehouse. This hands-on role is key to ensuring that all components meet the highest visual and functional standards before release to production and final delivery. Key Responsibilities Perform quality control checks on the production line and in the incoming goods warehouse Conduct aesthetic inspections of painted components, identifying and correcting minor defects through polishing and other minor repairs Use a gloss meter to verify surface finish quality Support functional inspections using calipers and thickness gauges Carry out specific tests with counterparts provided internally or by customers when required Collaborate closely with production and logistics teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement Candidate Requirements Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience in aesthetic inspection of painted or coated components (automotive or manufacturing experience preferred) Ability to perform minor cosmetic repairs, such as polishing Skilled in using measurement instruments such as calipers and thickness gauges Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards Flexibility to travel regularly between Gaydon and Wellesbourne, with occasional travel to St Athan (Wales) What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on high-quality, precision-engineered components Supportive and collaborative team environment Career growth opportunities within a respected organisation 2 Days per week If this role sounds like it could be of interest, then please apply today for a confidential chat.
