ROLE: Parts Advisor
LOCATION: Wambrook Taunton
SALARY: £32,760 + overtime + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 5.30. NO SATURDAY ROTA!
Parts Advisor required for a main dealer in Taunton!
Our client a well-known and successful independent workshop are seeking a Parts Advisor.
Duties of Parts Advisor :
* Greet workshop staff and assist with their needs for parts and accessories both in-person and via telephone / email
* Help our Workshops identify the correct parts for repairs, provide quotations and advise on product selection, availability and pricing
* Take orders from our workshops, raise purchase order numbers and handle invoices and receipts
* Receive, unpack and store parts
* Maintain stock levels, perform stock checks and identify when replacement stock is needed
* Keep accurate records, pursue warranty claims and maintain a clean and organised parts department
About you the successful Parts Advisor :
* Previous experience as a parts advisor in the motor trade
* Excellent telephone skills
* Good knowledge of car parts and will be competent looking up parts on the electronic parts catalogue
