You'll play a key role in managing our day-to-day transactional processes, ensuring accuracy across both purchase and sales ledgers, and supporting wider finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
* Monitor and respond to emails (personal and sales & purchase ledger)
* Provide email cover during holidays or sickness
* Review bank receipts spreadsheet and chase remittances
* Handle service plan reports and customer queries
* Perform credit control duties
Weekly Tasks
* Process Stellantis Warranty self-bills and send monthly debt updates
* Conduct warranty and ledger debt reviews with Team Leader
* Chase outstanding cash accounts and resolve unallocated balances
* Set up new YF&I service plan accounts
* Submit invoices from approved warranty claims
* Review Edynamix and Emac invoices for accuracy
* Support parts invoice processing when other tasks are complete
Monthly Tasks
* Process Renault & MG Warranty self-bills
* Send customer statements
* Review accounts on stop and update Pinnacle details
* Set up new customer accounts
Month-End Duties
* Reconcile finalised warranty claims
* Final review and allocation of cash accounts
* Tidy and allocate unallocated receipts or write-offs
* Send outstanding debt reports to managers
* Allocate matchable items on FIN & WAR accounts
General Ledger Duties
* Process high volumes of purchase invoices
* Match and batch invoices with purchase orders and GRNs
* Code and process overhead and expense invoices
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Collate and distribute sales data
* Process cash receipts
* Liaise with sales managers
* Post cross-ledger journals and assist with cost analysis
About You
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* High attention to detail
* Customer-focused and collaborative
* Calm under pressure and deadline-driven
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office
* Confident communicator
