We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Fleet Manager to join our team at SUEZ. This is a high‑impact role, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, problem‑solving, and building strong relationships across a large operational area.
About the role:
1. Salary: £66,905 per annum + £9,352.40 car allowance
2. Location: Ashford
3. Area's you will be covering: Dorset, Greater London, Southeast
4. Days / Hours of work: Monday to Friday / 08:00 - 17:00
5. Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

What will I be doing?
7. Managing a multi-workshop environment of both internal and external service providers across a wide geographical spread.
8. Responsible for designing and delivering against the road map for all Fleet Operations within the regional territory, including ensuring that is supports our operational needs across the whole business.
9. Build, develop and manage a successful team of workshop managers, technicians and administrative support teams to ensure an engaged and effective workforce.
10. Coach, mentor and develop the regional fleet team to ensure long-term consistency of service delivery and successful succession planning.
11. Utilise a professional level vehicle engineering qualification or relevant time served to support the regional fleet team with problem solving, fault finding and pro-active maintenance analysis.
12. Managing of third-party maintenance service providers.
13. Overall budgetary responsibility for the region both at an operational level and a strategic capital purchase level.
14. Responsibility for the implementation and delivery of Lean / Six Sigma working practices across all internal workshops to delivery effective cost control and service efficiency.
What are the requirements?
15. Heavy Goods Vehicle servicing, inspection and MOT preparation requirements.
16. Excellent analytical skills with ability see insights in data that can inform decision making
17. Knowledge of vehicle telematics to increase fuel efficiency and help reduce operational cost.
18. Knowledge of waste industry service requirements, operational systems and collection methodologies to ensure effective asset utilisation.
19. Lean / Six Sigma internal / yellow belt training as a minimum.
What qualification’s do I require?
20. Degree qualified, or equivalent further education
21. Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician level 3 or equivalent
22. IOSH as minimum but NEBOSH preferred
23. CPC in Road Haulage
24. HGV Class 2 driving licence (Desirable)
