Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Providing High-Quality Care and Education:
You'll be responsible for delivering an outstanding early years education experience, ensuring children's individual needs are met, and supporting them in their learning journeys. You'll plan and implement exciting activities that inspire and challenge young minds.
* Supporting Children with SEN:
You'll use your knowledge of SEN to create tailored learning experiences that help children with additional needs thrive. You'll be their champion, providing them with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to feel included and empowered.
* Third in Charge Leadership:
As the Third in Charge, you'll be assisting the leadership team in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the setting, and stepping up when needed to lead the team in the absence of senior staff. Your leadership skills will help guide the team in providing the best care and learning environment possible.
* Team Support and Collaboration:
Work closely with other practitioners, supporting them in their roles and ensuring consistency across the team. You'll help foster a positive, collaborative environment where everyone feels supported and valued.
* Observations and Record-Keeping:
You'll carry out observations on children's progress and development, keeping accurate records to inform planning and share with parents and other professionals as necessary.
* Parent and Carer Communication:
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress, achievements, and any concerns. Your ability to communicate clearly and empathetically will make a big difference in their child's journey.
* Health, Safety, and Welfare:
Promote the health, safety, and welfare of all children at all times. Ensure that children's physical and emotional well-being are safeguarded, following safeguarding protocols and policies to create a safe environment for them to grow and learn.
* Safeguarding:
You will be responsible for ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are strictly followed. You'll play an active role in identifying any signs of abuse or neglect and ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times.
