Overview
We are seeking Youth Support Workers to deliver open access youth work sessions during the evenings to young people aged 10 to 19.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and manage positive activities during sessions to young people.
* Build positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19.
* Work as a team member to deliver and manage activities and resolve issues as they arise.
* Be a positive role model to young people.
* Complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification (training will include some Saturdays, estimated 9 sessions, plus some online and in-person training).
Working pattern
Part Time - Term Time Only. Hours per week: 2.5. Current sessions: Monday 6pm to 8.30pm, Tuesday 6pm to 8.30pm, Thursday 6pm to 8.30pm, Friday 6pm to 8.30pm.
Location
Hawtonville Youth Centre, Newark, NG24 4HX. Work base: Office Based.
