We are now looking for a Transport Operator at our Panattoni Park site in Northampton to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, The shift pattern for this role is 13:00 - 21:30, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working (1 Saturday every 5 weeks).

The Role
As a Transport Operator, you will co-ordinate customer deliveries and collections to and from our Panattoni Park site in Northampton.
Specifically, you’ll action the daily transport delivery and collection plan, overcoming operational issues that arise and communicating these to the relevant customer contact to manage expectations.
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will co-ordinate customer deliveries to meet their requests, liaising promptly and efficiently with drivers to ensure they are fulfilled.
Additionally, you will:
- Perform driver pre-briefs and debriefs
- Record all abnormalities and update paperwork
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated
- Ensure all health and safety and transport mandatory procedures are adhered to
- Actively support audit work and KPI monitoring
About You
To be considered as a Transport Operator, you will need:
- Experience in a similar transport operator role
- Route planning experience
- An understanding of transport procedures including WTD and EU Driver regulations
- An understanding of fleet management, including maintenance and servicing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
