Are you ready to make a difference as our next Suite Manager?
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and leading a dedicated team? Lovett Care is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Suite Manager to join our wonderful team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of our residents, working alongside a supportive and caring team.
As a Suite Manager you will play a vital role in supporting the home management team to lead and inspire our care, catering, and housekeeping teams. You'll ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, help to create a nurturing environment, and step in as Deputy for the Assistant Manager when needed.
What will be your key responsibilities?
* Place residents at the heart of everything you do, ensuring their wishes and wellbeing are always prioritised.
* Lead, support, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding care.
* Maintain high standards of record-keeping and documentation.
* Ensure team members receive regular supervision and appraisals.
* Plan and manage the rota to ensure optimal staffing and skill mix.
* Take part in the on-call rota, which may include occasional night shifts.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of all residents and team members.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
* Proactively seek opportunities for personal and team development.
* Handle concerns, complaints, and investigations with professionalism.
* Ensure all equipment and aids are well maintained.
* Respond swiftly to risks ensuring a safe environment.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies at all times.
* Carry out regular audits and follow up with action plans.
What skills and competencies are we looking for?
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Confident with medication administration.
* Genuine passion for providing care.
* Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft software.
* Effective problem-solving abilities.
* Team player with the ability to inspire and motivate.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
* Good knowledge of rota planning and staffing.
What qualifications and/or experience is required?
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Suite Manager/Unit Manager or similar.
* Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Experience in a care home environment is highly desired.
