JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full-time permanent position assisting the Scaffold Supervisor with the day to day running of the Scaffold Dept.
* Supervise a team of scaffolders, labourers, yardmen, and forklift drivers.
* Manage materials and equipment
* Act as a liaison between the scaffold team and various disciplines onsite to ensure that scaffolds are erected to meet the requirements of the discipline.
* Liaise with the onsite scaffold Inspector to ensure all scaffolds are erected as per design drawings and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
* Valid CISRS Advanced Card
* Working at Height Unit 2 qualified
DESIRABLE:
* ISOH Managing Safely
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
* Demonstrated Leadership Experience
* Strong Understanding of Health & Safety and NASC Regulations
* Good Organisational Skills
* Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
* IT literate – Microsoft Office
WORKING HOURS
* 37.5 hours working week Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of Overtime.
* Working hours are 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Wednesday and 07:00 to 16:30 on a Thursday.
* Overtime rates are paid at OT1 (x1.5) and OT2 (x2)
