Site Information HMP Prison Berwyn is a Category C prison in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It accommodates a male population. It is the largest prison in the UK, opened in 2017, and is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. Skills, Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to: Hold a minimum L3 qualification in relevant, subject specific area Hold a minimum L3 teaching qualification, e.g. AET, PTTLS or equivalent (Desirable, but not essential) Hold at least a level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy Hold, or commit to gain within 1 year, an appropriate Assessor qualification (TAQA 3, A1, or equivalent) Industry experience within the relevant vocational sector.
