Job Description:
The plant maintains a 24 hours 7 days per week continental shift environment. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00pm to 7:30am (nights). we maintain 2-3 rotation; in fourteen calendar days, you will work a total of seven days. Every other weekend is a long weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
* Measuring, weighing materials and ingredients from recipe card
* Recording of lot number
* Measuring weights – Tagging and staging for blending equipment
* Operation (bin numbers, blenders, PLC controlled agitation and transfer, blanchers and soakers
* Must ensure consistent and accurate measurement and blending to ensure continuous product supply to filling equipment
* Sanitation, sanitary maintenance, troubleshooting
* Quick thinking and responsive to surroundings, requirements, and domains
Requirements:
* Post-secondary or equivalent experience required
* 3-5 years manufacturing related experience
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
* Fluency in English both oral and written
