Overview
We are looking for a reliable Yard Operative to work in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment in BD4. You'll help fulfil customer orders to a high standard while maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pick customer orders, involving regular lifting of heavy/large items
2. Handle, load and offload steel products
3. Use warehouse equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts or side loaders (training provided if needed)
4. Cut materials using saws (where applicable)
5. Maintain accurate stock documentation
6. Keep the yard/warehouse clean and safe
7. Work effectively as part of a team
